Sindh Government Hospital, Korangi – 5 – Karachi
On 29th June, 2016, our third emergency room started its operation in Sindh Government Hospital Korangi. With this addition, we will be able to treat half a million children every year. Korangi is one of the largest towns of Karachi and we will be able to serve the population of Korangi, Landhi, Bin Qasim Town and adjacent areas. The emergency room covers 12,000 sq. feet of ground floor. This will not only help us treat more children in Korangi area but also reduce patient load of our National Institute of Child Health (NICH) Emergency Room since a lot of our patients were visiting NICH due to lack of good Pediatric Emergency Room in their area.

Mustafa was brought to the ChildLife ER in Korangi because there were no healthcare facilities near their residence in Lali Goth. He was diagnosed with Pneumonia and will remain at the ER until his chest X Ray shows an improvement in his condition.
