We are pleased to announce that Dr. Irfan Habib’s, head of clinical affairs at ChildLife, abstract has been accepted for poster presentation at the First National Pediatric Critical Care Conference 2015. The title of the abstract is “Profile of Critically ill patients in a pediatric emergency department of Karachi, Pakistan” co-authored by Khalid Mahmood A. Khan of NICH. This conference is organized by The Aga Khan University and Pakistan Pediatric Association. The objectives of this conference are to raise awareness about the importance of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (PCCM), standardize the practice of PCCM and enhance the knowledge of management of acutely ill children and improve clinical care practices. The conference is on August 15, 2015 at The Aga Khan University, Karachi. We wish Dr. Irfan and Mr. Khalid best of luck for the presentation.
