The recent heat wave in Karachi saw temperatures soar to the late 40 degree Celsius. This resulted close to 1500 children being brought into our emergency wards at National Institute of Child Health and Civil Hospital Karachi. As a result our facilities became over burdened with patients leading to a shortage of several lifesaving materials, such as drip sets and medicines. As such we reached out to our donors requesting them to donate generously for the provision of this essential equipment. We have received a very heartening response from several donors both in kind and in cash
