Habiba, a three-year-old girl, had not slept for the past 24 hours when she was brought to Raghib Foundation’s Shahnaz Memorial Centre in Saindad Goth. She was coughing chronically and complaining of an earache. The doctor diagnosed her with severe congestion and ear infection, and gave her antibiotics and other medicines for treatment. Her mother was satisfied with the care and even more thankful not to be charged anything since her husband, who used to work in the fisheries, is jobless these days.
